Kawasaki Z650RS is a street bike available in only 1 variant and 2 colours. The Kawasaki Z650RS is powered by 649cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 67.31 bhp and a torque of 64 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Kawasaki Z650RS comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Z650RS bike weighs 192 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.

The new Kawasaki Z650RS has entered the Indian two-wheeler space to compete against the likes of CB650R and the Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650. This new middleweight, which occupies the space between the Honda CB650R and the Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650, joins the Ninja 650, Z650, Vulcan S, and the Versys 650 in the Japanese manufacturer’s Indian portfolio.

The new Z650RS shares its 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor with the Ninja 650 and the Z650. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the engine is tuned to deliver 67.3bhp of power at 6,700rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm.

The Kawasaki Z900RS-inspired styling brings a single-pod round headlight with a chrome surround, retro-style twin-pod instrument cluster, a round shape for the rear-view mirrors, a curvy design for the fuel tank, a flat seat, and an underbelly exhaust. The motorcycle rides on split-style alloy wheels that are wrapped in tubeless tyres.

The new Z650RS is available in two colours – Candy Emerald Green and Metallic Moondust Gray. The Candy Emerald Green paint features golden-coloured alloy wheels while the Metallic Moondust Gray gets black coloured units.

The feature list on this retro styling Kawasaki comprises full-LED lighting and a semi-digital instrument cluster. The rider aids on the Z650RS include a dual-channel ABS, and an assist and slipper clutch mechanism. The motorcycle is built around a trellis frame, and it uses 41mm telescopic front forks and a horizontal back-link mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks. The braking duties are performed by twin 300mm rotors with dual-piston callipers at the front and a 220mm single disc with a single-piston calliper at the back.
