The Speedmaster is a full-size cruiser belonging to Triumph’s iconic Bonneville family. It is known for its British custom cruiser styling that adorns a gallop of chrome accentuating its low-profile and laid-back styling. It is essentially aimed at riders who want to cover long distances with comfort and in style.

The 2021 edition gets minor styling changes and new colours that distinguish it from its predecessor. Thus, while the Speedmaster retains its custom cruiser style, the clock on the 2021 model gets a new bezel with subtle Bonneville branding and a new dial face. The 2021 model also gets full-LED lighting as standard. The motorcycle can be further customised with the optional 79 accessories.

In terms of performance, the bike gets a 1200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree firing order that makes 76.9bhp at 6,100rpm and 106Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. The motor comes with a 16,000-kilometre/12-month service interval. This is accompanied by essential rider aids including two riding modes, cruise control and switchable traction control.

As for the cycle parts, it gets 47mm Showa cartridge front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The braking setup includes twin, 310mm discs with Brembo callipers at the front and a 255mm single rotor with Nissin calliper at the back.

The Speedmaster competes with the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight but is a bit cheaper than the American cruiser.
