An updated version of TVS Raider may launch soon in India

TVS will soon launch an updated version of its Raider 125 cc bike. It is likely to provide a SmartXonnect system with other updates.

TVS Motor is ready to launch its updated version of the Raider 125 cc motorcycle. It is a new motorbike and has become quite popular after its introduction in September 2021. This company will produce the updated variant of Raider 125 cc via MOTORVERSE, which is its Metaverse forum.

 

It is like to have the technology of SmartXonnect, which you may also find in other scooters like NTorq 125, and Apache RTR 200 4V. The SmartXonnect tech may give additional features of message notification, turn-by-turn navigation, call display, and so on. We may expect the bike to have a new instrument display system also.

 

TVS has come up with a few short videos on social media of the new Raider 125. You can watch the teaser on the Twitter and Instagram accounts of the Raider. However, the Raider 125 may remain the same mechanically. It is a single-cylinder engine of 124.8 cc, which gives out 11.2 bhp and a peak torque of 11.2 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The engine comes with a five-speed gearbox. 

 

There are two riding modes in the motorcycle, Power, and Eco. Power mode will offer ten percent more energy in the top-end variant.

 

The instrument panel has a negative LCD screen along with an extended list of features.

 

Some other features include three trip meters, an average speed recorder, an Integrated Starter Generator indication, and distance to empty indication. The motorcycle also has a safety switch forfor a side-stand cut-off.

 

The updated TVS Raider will compete in India with other 125 cc bikes, such as Honda Shine SP and Hero Glamour XTEC. Its price may probably range at around Rs. 90,000.
