Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles recently launched its updated 42 Bobber. It’s received a couple of updates on the mechanical front for 2023.

The 2023 Jawa 42 Bobber features the same design as before. It’s equipped with a round LED headlight, a wide handlebar, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, bar-end mirrors, a scooped single seat, and a slash-cut exhaust.

The bike now derives power from an OBD2-compliant, 334cc, single-cylinder motor. It produces 30.2bhp and a torque of 32.74Nm. Jawa has tweaked the 42 Bobber for improved NVH levels as well as given it a larger throttle body and exhaust ports. This has been done in a bid to improve the Bobber’s performance while adhering to the emission norms.

The 2023 Jawa 42 Bobber features LED illumination, a fully digital instrument console with a speedometer, odometer, trip meter, tachometer, side stand engine cut-off, fuel level readout, and more. It also gets ABS for added safety.

On the hardware front, 42 Bobber rides on telescopic front forks and a monoshock and gets a single front and rear disc brake mounted on spoked wheels.

Jawa has priced the 42 Bobber at Rs. 2,12,500 for the Mystic Copper colour, whereas the Moonstone White and Jasper Red paint themes cost Rs. 2,13,500 and Rs. 2,15,187 (all ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. The 42 Bobber rivals the Royal Enfield Classic 350 in this segment.
