TVS Jupiter 125 is a scooter available in 4 variants and 9 colours. The TVS Jupiter 125 is powered by 124.8cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 8.04 bhp and a torque of 10.5 Nm. With both front and rear drum brakes, TVS Jupiter 125 comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This Jupiter 125 scooter weighs 108 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 5.1 liters.

The Jupiter 125 is TVS’ latest product. This scooter was developed to cater to a huge market which is currently dominated by Suzuki Access 125.

The Jupiter 125 has been built from ground up. It gets a new frame, new engine, new features and also some interesting additions. The company decided to use the Jupiter name as it has a strong brand recall and over the years through the 110cc version, Indian customers have been able to trust the reliability and performance of the brand.

The Jupiter 125 gets its power from a new 125cc air-cooled engine incorporating a two-valve head, unlike the Ntorq 125's three-valve setup. It churns out around 8.2bhp of power and 10.5Nm of peak torque. This motor is mated to a CVT gearbox. The company hasn’t disclosed the fuel efficiency of the scooter yet, but we can expect it to be reasonable.

In terms of cycle parts, the Jupiter 125 gets 12-inch wheels with telescopic forks at the front and monoshock at the back, which interestingly gets a new adjustable mechanism for preload. The braking department is handled by a 220mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. However, the disc brake version comes as an option.

The Jupiter 125 has one fine USP – under seat storage. It can take up to 33 litres, which means two helmets can fit in easily. TVS has been able to manage this by providing a fuel tank below the floorboard. The fuel filler cap can be accessed below the handlebar which makes it extremely convenient. USB charger comes as standard.

The Jupiter 125 also goes against the Honda Activa 125 and is available in orange, blue and grey.
