Vespa VXL 125 is a scooter available in 2 variants and 8 colours. The Vespa VXL 125 is powered by 124.45cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 9.65 bhp and a torque of 10.11 Nm. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Vespa VXL 125 comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This VXL 125 scooter weighs 115 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 7.4 liters.

The VXL 125 is amongst the most affordable models in Vespa’s India line-up. It has recently been facelifted which has brought along a BS6-compliant engine and couple of new features to justify the premium it demands over the previous model.

The Vespa VXL 125’s retro design draws inspiration from the Italian manufacturer’s iconic design philosophy with plush body panels comprising of smooth lines all over. In terms of features, the scooter comes equipped with a digital display with an analogue speedometer. Notably, the new BS6 model also gets a full-LED headlamp, USB charger and an under seat light.

The Vespa VXL 125 is built on the same single piece steel monocoque chassis, which underpins the rest of the Vespa range. Powering the scooter is a 125cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that produces 9.7bhp and 9.6Nm. This is lower than the BS4 version’s power output of 10bhp and 10Nm.

It rides on an 11-10-inch wheel combination shod with 110-70 and 120-70 section Maxxis tubeless tyres. Stopping power comes from a 200mm front disc as standard while the rear tyre gets a 140mm drum brake. Suspension setup consists of a single side arm suspension at the front and a hydraulic monoshock at the rear.

The Vespa VXL 125 is available in six trendy paint schemes - grey, yellow, white, red, matte black and blue. Vespa offers a host of personalization accessories like front chrome bumper guard, a perimeter kit and a visor.

Piaggio India has added the Vespa 75th Edition in the Indian market. This special edition, which celebrates the 75th anniversary of the brand, features a glossy metallic Giallo paint scheme along with soft Nobuk leather feel dark smoke grey seats. The styling elements over the standard model include a flyscreen at the front, a circular bag installed on the retractable rack at the rear, and number ‘75’ on the apron, front fender, and under-seat panels. The design, features, mechanical specifications, and hardware are similar to the standard model.
